1. KitchenAid KC2AS12ER Aluminum Nonstick 12 Piece Cookware Set, Empire Red
This first set comes in KitchenAids iconic red color. Made with a heavy gauge aluminum construction this set is designed to be durable as well as practical. It has a solid stainless steel base which gives the pans extra sturdiness and allows them to resist warping even at very high temperatures.
It uses a PFOA free non stick surface on the interior which is designed to stand up to rigorous dishwasher use. Unlike many non stick cookware sets this one is quite happy in the dishwasher. It is also safe oven to 400 degrees F.
This set includes:
- 8″ Skillet
- 10″ Skillet with Lid
- 1.5-Quart Saucepan with Lid
- 2.5-Quart Saucepan with Lid
- 3.0-Quart Saute with Lid,
- 6.0-Quart Low Casserole with Lid
- Steamer Insert
2. KitchenAid KCH2S10KM Professional Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set – Black
The great thing about many KitchenAid cookware sets is that they are induction ready. This set will cook great on any cooktop you like. Again this is made with a hard anodized aluminum with a stainless steel base.
It has a great non stick surface which again is robust enough to stand up to the dishwasher.
These aren’t as colorful and vibrant as some KitchenAid products but the design is still beautiful. We particularly like the finishing touches on the lid like the domed glass with KitchenAid embellishment.
This set includes:
- 8″ Skillet
- 10″ Skillet
- 1.5-Quart Saucepan with Lid
- 3.0-Quart Saucepan with Lid
- 3.5-Quart Saute Pan with Lid
- 8.0-Quart Stockpot with Lid.
3. KitchenAid KCSS10LS Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set – Polished Stainless Steel
We know that many people are fond of mirrored finish products for their kitchen so we couldn’t leave this one out. This induction ready cookware set is absolutely stunning.
It again features the domed lids and ergonomically designed rivets handles. The body is made with premium 18/10 steel with a colorfast finish.
The insides of these pans are also etched with handy measurement guides so you don’t need to reach for a measuring jug when cooking.
set includes:
- 8″ Skillet
- 10″ Skillet
- 1.5-Quart Saucepan with Lid
- 3.0-Quart Saucepan with Lid
- 3.5-Quart Saute Pan with Lid
- 8.0-Quart Stockpot with Lid
4. KitchenAid Tri-Ply Copper 12-Piece Cookware Set
This is one of the more expensive sets in the cookware range. Tri-Ply is usually expensive. If you are looking for a really high quality Tr-Ply set you might want to compare this set with the All Clad D5 Five-Ply and the Anolon Try-Ply.
Try-Ply cookware is great as you get all the durability of stainless steel and the heat conductivity of copper and aluminum. The three layers combine to make a really strong pan that cooks like no other. This durability means they are oven safe to much higher temperatures than normal pans, 500 degrees F in this case.
These pans also come with the etched measuring marks on the interior surface.
They work great with all cook tops types and try-ply particularly shines when used with an induction cooktop like the nuwave pic2.
The KitchenAid try-ply is incredibly beautiful as you would expect.
Set consists of:
- 8″ skillet
- 10″ skillet with lid
- 1.5-quart saucepan with lid
- 3.0-quart saucepan with lid
- 3.5-quart sauté pan with lid
- 8-quart stock pot with lid
- Steamer insert
5. KitchenAid KC2AS10OB 10 Piece Aluminum Nonstick Set, Onyx Black, Large
Another induction ready non stick cookware set for your consideration.
As with all KitcehnAid non stick surfaces they are designed to last even when used regularly in the dishwasher. It is the same as the previous non stick coatings and is a three layer PFOA free.
This is a well made heavy gauge alumium set that would look great in any kitchen.
This set includes:
- 8″ skillet
- 10″ skillet
- 1.5-Quart saucepan with lid
- 2.5-Quart saucepan with lid
- 3.0-Quart saute with lid
- 6.0-Quart low casserole with lid
Conclusion
We are big fans of KitchenAid products. Everything they make is always very high quality and built to last. Despite this they are affordable pieces that cook amazingly well. We love that nearly all of their cookware sets are induction ready as well.
If you are wanting to go for their stainless steel range I would go with the KCSS10LS series, it is really beautiful with it’s polished stainless steel finish. It is also available in their iconic red and an oynx black. Any of these would be a great choice.
It is also worth considering the extra investment and going for the Try-Ply set. This set will last you a lifetime and the cooking performance really is second to none.
Most of the pieces that are available in the sets are available to buy individually as well so you can replace them or just buy the ones you need.
Keep in mind that the stainless steel sets do not have a non stick coating so maybe more difficult to clean but of course you can put them in the dishwasher.
KitchenAid Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware
If you would prefer a real non stick surface then take a look at the KCH2S10KM series which is a hard anodized set. These are the easiest to wash and they are dishwasher safe too. They are also lighter than stainless steel pans.
The handles on these stay cooler than stainless steel while in use. Not that we had a problem with any of these sets in that respect. Obviously you need to be a bit more careful with stainless steel handles.
The non stick isn’t quite as good as some non sticks out there but we found it to work really well. The fact that you can put it in the dishwasher without damaging it is a really big bonus.
Whichever set you choose from the KitchenAid range you will undoubtedly be pleased with your purchase. Their cookware is beautiful, functional, durable and offers great value to the buyer.
