Let’s start off with one of the most popular sets on Amazon.com. This 11 piece is a heavy duty set made with hard-anodized construction that promotes efficient and even heating. This set has been tested to restaurant standards for its non stick surface meaning that it will last for a very long time if looked after properly.
As seen in the image to the right these pans come in a nice matt black finish with matching soft textured stay cool handles.

3. Anolon Nouvelle Copper Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set
This striking set is the first induction ready Anolon cookware set on our list, and it’s one of the best. Induction cookware offers the most efficient way of cooking but you do need an induction cooktop to take full advantage of it. This set is of course compatible with any stove top type.
The pans are stainless steel but feature a copper core for optimal heat conduction. Having the best heat conduction possible is important for even cooking. These pans use a unique 5 layered base with stainless steel and aluminum sandwiching the copper core. The copper core rim has been left exposed to give these pans a nice design feature.
As these pans are stainless steel there is no non stick surface but we found no problems using them and know that many people prefer to use non ‘non stick’ pans anyway. Plus it means you can put them in the dishwasher without worrying about ruining the surface.

Much like the All Clad & Cuisinart Cookware sets this set is made with tri-ply construction. The alumium core is sandwich by two layers of stainless steel for amazing heat conduction and superb strength meaning these pans should last many years without warping.
This set is compatible with all cook top types including induction so provides a great alternative over the previous set on our list if you are a tri-ply fan or just prefer the more classic design.
This set is oven safe to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and also dishwasher safe. Great for everyday cooking with long term durability.

This non stick set has had it’s non stick surface restaurant tested finding that it stands up to even the toughest cooking sessions over a long period of time. Metal utensils will not degrade the surface which is a common problem with many non stick pan sets.
This set uses a 5 layer construction with copper sandwiched between two layers of aluminum and is protected by an induction capable stainless steel encapsulator. This gives you the best of both worlds with great heat conduction and a non stick surface.
This is one of our favourite Anolon sets for it’s good looks and superb design. Anolon go the extra mile on design features for example on this set the rivets that hold the handles in place have been specially designed so that food does not get stuck so that cleaning them is really easy. You can tell Anolon have looked at other pan sets from other brands and their own and tried to make the end user experience the best it can be for both cooking and clean up.

Conclusion
Picking one of the above sets really depends on what you want from a cookware set. You need to decide whether you prefer a non stick surface or want to go with the more traditional stainless steel. Also if you need induction capable pans then choose carefully as not all of the above are compatible.
It may just boil to design preference choosing between a traditional stainless steel or a more coloured set. Price wise there is currently not much between any of these sets. You can see their current prices here.

If you are a serious cook and will be using these pans regularly or on a day to day basis then you may wish to go for one of the tri-ply or 5-ply sets for that extra durability and strength.
